Intel has disappointed recently on the back of a difficult market environment and the internal turnaround engaged by its CEO Pat Gelsinger. INTC is making some progress in manufacturing and the product portfolio, but it remains unlucky with unlocking new value through the launch of more efficient processors. While the company remains one of three companies globally that can produce leading edge semiconductors, investors probably need to wait with any share price appreciation until the new factories in the States and in Europe go online.
