While there is no precise definition of high conviction equities we apply the following specifications:

  • A well-defined product line, covering next generation technology requirements for IOT, IOE, M2M, etc.  
  • Companies that meet stringent investment criteria (product, management, style, etc.)
  • Factor-based: high conviction equities may have ongoing high momentum and/or beta factors

Significantly, a classification of an equity as “High Conviction” can result in the overwriting of risk management strategy rules.
